Established in 2018
SSGE was established and registered as a business entity in Monrovia, Liberia in August 2018.
SSGE previously operated under the umbrella of the nonprofit organization, Vision Awake Africa For Development (VAAFD), but is now a 100% Liberian owned business, managed by Mr. Karrus Hayes.
SSGE sells quality solar lanterns and solar home systems (SHS) to Government, local and International Organizations, individuals and businesses.
SSGE provides customers with optimized quality and reliable clean energy services at relatively low prices, reducing small businesses and individuals home energy expense by 35%, whilst contributing to fighting global warming.
SSGE has distributed and installed over 4,991 solar systems to individual customers and institutions in Liberia since 2013, and is now aiming to scale up its business.
Objectives
Provide access to affordable and high quality renewable energy product for all Liberians.
Establish sales agents in 10 out of 15 counties in Liberia.
Provide financial care and moral support and provide training to all sales agents.
Improve lighting system and access to renewable energy through better technology and practices.
Empower the population to sustain the renewable businesses by providing solar technical training for all of our established sales agents.
Improve agricultural processes.
Work to build Liberia back into a safe, sustainable, and progressive country.
OUR RENEWABLE PARTNER
The company has been formed by a group of shareholdide exposure in solar Technology. People involved here are young qualified solar technicians’ graduates and qualified electrician from the renowned Universities vocational institutions across the world and Liberia.
The resource personnel working in the company have been consistently providing reliable support services and consultancy to a wide variety of our customers or business partner. Bottom line of the company philosophy is building a long-term business partnership with its clients where interpersonal relationship, reliability, assured quality and target oriented modern solar technology are the major building blocks.
